Zu korrespondierenden Mitgliedern der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie (DGOU) können Personen ernannt werden, die sich um das Fach Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie besonders verdient gemacht haben, insbesondere internationale Ärzte und Wissenschaftler.
