The task of the Deutschen Vereinigung für Schulter- und Ellenbogenchirurgie e.V. [German Association for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery] (DVSE) is to promote the ethical implementation of evidence-based, high-quality and cost-transparent medicine within the field.
The purpose of the association is the promotion knowledge in the field of illness and injuries of the shoulder and elbow in research, teaching and patient care, including during rehabilitation in cases of these diseases.
