AOTrauma Deutschland [AO Trauma Germany] (AOTD) is an association of surgeons, orthopaedists, oral surgeons and doctors from other medical specialisations, who are actively working in the area of surgery of support and musculoskeletal systems.
The working group has set itself the objective of maintaining, promoting, further developing and providing training in the area of clinical and scientific research in the field of conservative, rehabilitative and plastic surgery of the support and musculoskeletal systems.
As part of the working group, section members are tasked with representing the objectives of the section in both practical and research terms, as well as promoting experimental and clinical research in the field by exchanging and sharing their own knowledge and experience.
To this end, the section organises scientific conferences at least once per year, as well as various different teaching and training events. The objectives of the section are exclusively non-profit.
